Describe the tool, what it does, and how outputs will be used.
Technical availability does not mean the tool is institutionally approved for all data or uses.
Choose the highest level that applies. This is about how AI output will influence people, records, services, communications, or official actions.
Stage 05
Classify the data and identify sensitive records.
Choose the most protective classification that could apply. If unsure, select Unknown or the higher-risk classification until a Data Steward confirms it.
Stage 06
Identify third-party, contract, procurement, privacy, and security review needs.
Stage 07
Identify system connections, access type, and authentication method.
Stage 08
Describe who reviews outputs and who remains accountable.
